How to get rid of cellulite

Truth be told, there is absolutely no harm to your health from having those bits of cellulite on your body. Nearly 90% of women feel uncomfortable if their cellulite is visible, such as in swimsuits or short shorts.

So here are some quick tips on how to get rid of this nuisance.

If you have cellulite accumulated on your hips and thighs, you will be benefited by strength and weight-training exercises. Try squats, jump squats, barbell squats, barbell step-ups, kickbacks, and lunges.

Cellulite is caused by the accumulation of fat.  A combination of strenuous exercise and cardio will do wonders in replacing that fat with lean muscle.

Eat healthier

Change your diet to one that will help reduce skin problems. The fat and toxins that accumulate under your skin come from an improper diet. This reduces the skin's elasticity and slows down circulation.  Try a diet with more raw vegetables and fresh fruits.

Cut down on carbs like flour and sugar, as well as processed food.  Limit the consumption of coffee, sodas, and energy drinks.

Drink more water

If you drink more water, you help to eliminate the fat and toxins from your body. This will prevent them from accumulating in your skin, therefore reducing cellulite.   You should be drinking 8-9 glasses per day.

Use Some Skin Products

It is fine to apply skin care products that will build collagen in your skin.  You can try creams containing retinol and vitamin C.

Take cold and hot showers

Shower the affected areas with 2-3 minutes of warm water, then 2-3 minutes of cold water.  This helps improve circulation and activates your metabolism.
